The problem
What needed solving.
A mobile mechanic business runs on calls, texts and paper.
Drivers want a price before they book. Fleets need many trucks handled at once. Mechanics need the job, the route and the inspection on their phone. Shops and the head office need to see all of it.
So we built one system with a login for each of them.
What we built.
Four logins, one system
Customer, mechanic, shop and head office all work from the same database.
Two-minute booking
Guests book without an account. A pricing engine prices the job as they pick services.
Route map
Customers see the mechanic's road route and an arrival time based on traffic.
8-point inspection
Each visit ends with an inspection PDF with photos.
Payments
Stripe with saved cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, payouts split to shops, and Net-30 invoices for fleets.
Fleet booking
A capacity planner for many trucks at once. 55 trucks imported in one afternoon.
Head office console
23 sections, search, CSV exports and a coverage map.
Security
Argon2id passwords, hashed sessions, lockouts, a content security policy, an audit log and staff two-factor available.
Two apps built for this platform.
The customer app is public on the App Store and Google Play. Customers book, pay, follow the mechanic on a map and keep their PDF receipts.
The mechanic app is built and deployed to the crew. It tracks location in the background, runs a three-tap job flow and takes the 8-point inspection with photos.
